I have been making and learning about historical and modern clothing since 2020. Here’s some of what I’ve done so far!
My AP Art History final project was to re-create a work of art we had studied. I chose the swing, and made a dress.
After watching Pride and Prejudice, my friend and I decided to have an outdoor tea party in period dress.
Okay, I know I expressed my distaste for the show in my personal essay, but making a Bridgerton dress was really fun (below)
First, some recent projects…
A few of my earlier ones…
I celebrated my 5 on the AP Art History exam at the Metropolitan Museum of Art with a homemade shirt, skirt and the Burghers of Calais (left)
I visited Colonial Williamsburg and got a chance to talk with the milliners…
I was the Costume Designer for an independent student production of “Horse Girls”!
I am the Head of Costumes in the School of Visual and Performing Arts (SVPA) at Montclair High School.
